The design project for the 2014 Municipal Elections aimed to create educational materials that provided clarity on voters', candidates', and election staff's responsibilities. The primary goal was to ensure voters were well-informed while establishing a distinctive and easily recognizable identity for the election.

The logo was crafted to embody a modern and edgy interpretation of a voting ballot, while maintaining a fun and approachable vibe to engage all ages. The logo and visual identity was carefully executed to reflect the city's growing and diverse nature, embracing inclusivity.

As the municipal election was a responsibility of the corporation occurring every four years, it required a robust, memorable, and effective brand. The versatility of the brand was a key consideration, ensuring its applicability across various design and communication functions associated with the election,

The scope of the design work encompassed posters, transit advertisements, signage, wayfinding, printed and web advertising, letterhead, and envelopes and more.
